Use a quality CV grease (like Liquid Moly) if servicing the outers joints. The inner uses a specific tripod grease - It's not a true CV joint so use the correct grease for it. I havent actually seen an AFR in MES. Hopefully that will be a future improvement for MES.

The 2 HU that I've narrowed it down to are both single din chassis with DD faceplates. I think this will help with the lack of space behind a full DD HU.
