Re: Engine swap not starting
Did you use the harness from the new engine or old engine? I’m fairly certain the crank position sensor changed sides in 2014, which the old harness probably won’t reach, I don’t think the car would turnover without that signal. It did switch. You actually want to use your OLD harness if the sensor ...

Re: Tune Testing
I'll take a look at Draggy. I can't find the max frequency of the Kiwi, it just says (unhelpfully) 4x faster than the nearest competitor. Dashcommand documentation is equally unhelpful, so I'll play with it and see what the options look like and what comes out. I have torque on an Android somewhere...

Re: Tune Testing
I don’t think disconnecting them will prove anything or it would have been done years ago. How so? If someone’s already done this then I’ve missed it. If it’s a standard Hall effect sensor without signal voltage, it’ll be an on off switch, disconnecting it would be the same thing to the ecu as the ...

Re: Tune Testing
What’s your data rate frequency with that logging combo? I’m currently getting 3hz for 5PIDs in BlueDriver, but will be upgrading to a wifi logger to get that up to 10hz. I might also suggest logging enough data to input into virtual dyno, to plot the hp/tq in WOT runs. It would be interesting to se...

Re: Where’s the party?
It’s a shame, on the other forums and it’s getting tired when the first reply to most questions is “why would you want to do that”, or “take it to the dealer”
I’m not on FB either, so it’s nice to have this repository of info.

Re: Isabella - The 6 Million Dollar possessed FIat
My bet on the P0300 would be the pulley (or pulley installation); Especially if you didn't notice any actual misfire, Misalignment or binding on any of the accessory drive could cause the cam/crank to set outside of the PCM sensor thresholds; if it were re-installed correctly, would've corrected the...

Re: Stiff Gearshift maintenance
I would like to add that after performing this; it won’t last long if there is corrosion or ingress into the housing.. if you’re going to the effort of removing the pivot, removing the housing is only 3 more bolts while you’re there. Where you can properly clean and grease the whole assembly. I used...

Let us know if it works out, you may have inadvertently ran 12v back to your PCMs signal output. Hopefully the signal that shorted to ground blew the fuse first though.

Re: Getting P0261 and P0351 Codes , Plus it won't Start
I checked the schematic, the coils, injectors and cold start solenoid all share the same hot line at Fuse 17. That would be the first place I look. Also, the pinout on the coils from turbo to non turbo is different, so they might actually work, but you'd need to re pin the connector; thats not to sa...
