Re: What did you do to your Fiat lately ?
FWIW, on my 124, WOT causes the IAT to go up not down. Of course I'm frequently only running 10 degrees over ambient unless it has been idling for a while. It definitely has less of an issue with heat than the 500 does. If that's actually the case... maybe I should try routing the stock intake feed...

Re: What did you do to your Fiat lately ?
Maybe I'll take a picture of where the IAT/MAP is on the 124. It runs so much cooler. I'm not convinced that it's a problem with the location of the sensor though, as much as the intake is just getting that heat soaked. You don't want timing advance if the intake charge is actually that hot. If the...

Re: What did you do to your Fiat lately ?
Mishimoto radiator hoses? I mean while you're in there you might as well. And yes, you need new flywheel bolts. Modern Performance in Houston has them, pre loctited and everything. https://www.modernperformance.com/ I personally would not really move the IAT / MAP sensor too much as it may be calib...

Re: What did you do to your Fiat lately ?
I've finally begun the process of restoring my 500 Abarth! It's in quite a poor state at the moment, I hate to admit. However, the new engine is almost ready to go in (along with the new ported and coated exhaust manifold and turbine housing). The car needs a lot of work. The most obvious is a pain...

Re: ARCP Not running by itself...
VERY Old thread, but I found out what was going on so hopefully this will help someone in the future. It appears that it was indeed something wrong with the software on the ECU. After flashing EC Euro-Drive, the problem was immediately fixed and all is back to normal now, even if I flash back to sto...

Re: Unique rear suspension setup
Definitely interested to see if the rear upper shock mounts can handle the spring force. I have done *zero* research into this, and I know it's not necessarily performance oriented, but I'd be interested to see if Nivomats could somehow be fitted to the rear so I can lower the back end to a sane hei...

Re: ARCP Not running by itself...
Okay, I've ruled out the ECU logic, now looking into sensors. It ran by itself for the first time in months today, and it also happens the only time in months I've been able to drive a long distance with the climate control completely off. That tells me that it may be coolant temperature related, as...

Re: ARCP Not running by itself...
I wish I knew what all it uses to decide whether or not to run... Not having luck finding anything.
