Re: MonoAir?
I figured it out! Energize the solenoids constant on with ECU and it's just a full-time, full lift and duration cam. Oil circulation's limited to draining down when power's off but heck, what's the worst that could happen? I was maybe overthinking it. Got an AEM Infinity 6 on its way. Can't wait to ...

Re: Quaife Limiter Slip Differential
FYI that new C514 LSD from RSX Racing Solutions in Italy is a plate-type. Smoother engagement/disengagement than Quaife ATB. Unfortunately RSX's website (https://rsxracingsolutions.com/en/differentials/210601312-autoblocante-fiat.html) is relatively useless when it comes to technical details on thes...

Re: Quaife Limiter Slip Differential
Yeah, I think the M32 was in the GM-ified ("you can keep your decadent 4x100s, comrade") Grande Punto. Here's some tech info on the C514 family archived from when Huangzhou IVECO was making some. 6-speed weighs 1.8kg more than 5-speed.

Re: Quaife Limiter Slip Differential
I picked one up for my C514 build but haven't opened the package yet. I think it specifies that it's for C514 variants that have bolt-on crownwheels, while some have crownwheels that affixed by adhesive and an interference fit. Picked up a UK-market Punto 6-speed so I can poach 3rd/4th/5th and (hope...

Re: Project Pasbarth
Oof, no idea. So tight on space in the garage right now that I'm ages away from accomodating a scale setup, but light overall weight is the prime directive on this puppy. More pics coming once I finish painting the cage and install the steering column bracket. Mocked up an alternative, lightweight, ...

...They installed the Haltech in a "piggyback" mode where it would override the fueling and timing from the stock PCM... ...Could the Haltech, in Piggyback mode, basically work like the old Unichip did? Except much more advanced? Allowing the stock PCM do so the grunt work, while the Halt...

Re: MonoAir?
Ah, I assumed "Mefistofele" was merely running a Seletron Chipbox. I plan to give Zecca a call in the next couple of weeks and see what he suggests. Will report back, of course.

Re: MonoAir?
So I'm seeing 'variable cam control' in the feature lists of the standalone ECUs I've been checking out. Haltech Elite 1500, for example, cites... Variable cam control - Independently control up to 4 camshafts - Requires a minimum of 1 user defined input & output per variable cam If we treat eac...
