Re: C&B Cam
Can anyone say for a fact that this cam will work in and improve performance in a NA 500 ? Will it be worth it ?

Re: C&B Cam
Won't work on the NA, cam profile is wrong.

Re: C&B Cam
Thanks Paul. If it would help ,I'd get one. I guess bigger brakes, an
LSD, lightened flywheel, clutch, and dyno tune will have to do.

Re: C&B Cam
Exhaust manifold and those new multi-air springs maybe?
You could ask C&B but I suspect a custom cam will be expensive, plus my Italian is not good and I don't really know what to ask for even in English.

Re: C&B Cam
I don't unfortunately. If I get adventurous one day I'll look around town for a "cam doctor", although the Pop is supposed to be the reliable, unmodified one.nightowlracing wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 9:23 amDo you have a cam card for one? Never have been able to see the spec's but that wouldn't stop anyone who has access to a Cam Doctor which is a camshaft measurement machine.

Re: C&B Cam
One might need to swap the upper part of the head (AKA the "cam box") in order to use cam sets such as CAT Cams’ 1901406 (fast road), 1901453 (race/rally), or Colombo and Bariani’s FF16.ST1 on our Pop/Sport/Lounge EAB motors. Of course you'd need a custom tune in order to make it work. For the record, CAT Cams' spec for the 1901453 notes that it's for the 176 A9.000, but I'm pretty sure it's a typo that should say 176 A8.000.
For the record, these motors all use the same gasket between the top and bottom halves of the head:
169 A3.000 1368cc from Panda 101HP, EU 500);
176 B9.000 1242cc from Punto (176), Ypsilon (840);
179 D7.000 1242cc from Palio, Siena;
182 B2.000 1242cc from Marea (185), Brava (182), Bravo I (182);
188 A5.000 1242cc from Siena (178), Palio (178BX), Ypsilon (843), Palio Weekend (178), IDEA (350);
192 B2.000 1368cc from Musa (350), Stilo Multi Wagon (192);
843 A1.000, alternative part number for 192 B2.000;
198 A1.000, 1368cc turbo from Mi.TO (955), Linea (323), Bravo II (190) T-Jet;
198 A4.000, 1368cc turbo from Doblo (263), Delta III (844), Giulietta (940), Grande Punto (199), 500L (EU), T-Jet;
198 A7.000, 1368cc from Delta III (844);
199 A6.000, 1368cc from Mi.TO (955), Punto (188);
312 A1.000, 1368cc turbo from RoW 500 (312) Abarth;
312 A3.000, 1368cc turbo from RoW 500 (312) Abarth '07-'12;
940 B7.000 from 500L (199);
955 A2.000, 1368cc MultiAir turbo from Mi.TO (955);
955 A7.000, 955 A8.000, and 199 A8.000, all alternative part numbers for 955 A2.000;
955 A6.000, 1368cc MultiAir from Punto (199), Mi.TO (955).
As far as I'm aware the EAB is basically a 169 A3.000 with MultiAir.

Re: C&B Cam
I wish I knew the euro platforms better, feels like some of these you have listed must by non-turbo cars.

Re: C&B Cam
Yup, the majority of them are nonturbo motors but I've noted some of the turbos in that list.
I just notified my Portugal contact that Zecca recently announced DI Corse's new supply of imported T-Jet (198 A1.000) heads, and my Portugal guy says he's also found a supplier in Italy for same. Now I get to figure out whether cams from nonturbo models will fit into this turbo model cam box to work on my nonturbo block...
