Re: E+D Phase 2 +PB 18psi
Have you brought it up there?
So far as I know, they have warrantied every busted hose, so there's that. Obviously that doesn't cover labor and the cost of chasing issues for folks who were unaware of this possibility beforehand, but it's a start.
They may already be aware of the problem batch as well...
I know I've had my EC intercooler on for a long time in some pretty extreme conditions and high boost and the hoses haven't shown any signs of splitting. So I don't think it's ALL the hoses. But yeah, it does seem to be a cause for concern.

I think I was the first one to make an issue of it in Public way. Back on FT.

Yay boost leak
Check the DV+ and make sure you don't have a tear in it......by that I mean toss the Forge atmospheric BOV in the car and stop using the factory diverter valve.

Lol. Agreed. The forge is the right way to go.

As a follow-up, I did get hit with a burst hose. The hose was a couple of years old, pre kevtek. Burst below the turbo.
EC warrantied it fully and sent a new replacement and only asked for a picture of the old hose as verification. Perfectly reasonable.
I'm wondering if the heat of the down pipe is a contributing factor. I have a 200 cell ATP downpipe. The top is wrapped but not the cat, as a lot of sources say it will damage the cat to wrap it. Now I'm second guessing that.

When I installed my FMIC, I also thought the IC hoses were dangerously close to the downpipe.
Right away I bought a downpipe jacket to mitigate any heat related problems.
Heat is the enemy....
