Re: tubular control arms or
Not that this will matter to most people but, here are the weight differences. The stamped out OEM control arms weight is 4pds. and 14.8 oz.. The DNA's weight is 5 pds. and 4.9 oz. Most of the changes I've done to my car were to drop weight but, these and my roll bar have added some. Thanks for everyone's help. I should get done this morning and then an alignment check next week.

Looks great. So the rubbing on the sway bar was solved with the end-links?

Yes, I adjusted the links to give them more clearance. Today I found out that if you turn the steering all the way ,the wheels will rub the new control arms. I'm not a happy camper. I'm running custom thickness wheel spacers that keep the tires from rubbing the fenders now.

I'm making a set of Frankenarms. I plan on having them powder coated and I have the Powerflex bushings and new ball joints for them

Re: tubular control arms or
Neat idea, sportfan. Did you ever weigh these completed franken-arms, by the way?

Re: tubular control arms or
They aren't completed yet but, with the arm and all the parts ( new ball joint, new Powerflex Bushings ) on my electronic scales they are 6 pd. 5 oz. I'm going to drag out the Tig welder and finish building them tomorrow. Now that I'm retired , I'll have more time to mod the car.
