Pump gas results. I was using a fully 91 octaned Esso pump gas without ethanol for the first few runs, no fancy pants tricks or anything of the sort and pulled off two runs that were identical.

Eddie had an idea to run with the inlet disconnected from the v4.1 so I gave it a shot. The dyno dude overlaid the runs and we were surprised by picking up power above 5k, at the cost of a big drop in torque/power lower down. That v4.1 makes some real gains in the meaty part of day to day driving. For subsequent runs and including the comparison of the inlet, we started to do our runs at 2500RPM and saw cleaner data.

Looks like he isn't actually doing a comparison of the two.... he switched to the Tork tune BEFORE going to the dyno....

Then, I filled up with race gas and let the car idle (to cool and consume some fuel). I used VP Racing HP100 and wow that has some paint thinner fumes, similar to the 94 we get here but way more potent. HP100 is oxygenated so for every cycle, there is more air...more fuel, more powa.

What do we see? It looks the torque holds up for much longer during the run and is smoother overall.

Oh no my friend. I've been to the dyno with phase 1 (similar weather) and phase 2 (flashed on dyno in July at 20C). I started the thread with my phase 2 dyno ;-).

Finally. Phase 2 from Eurocompulsion (14C, 84% humidity, 94 octane gas) vs. Tork (3C, 100% humidity, 91 octane gas)

And to even the playing field a bit. Here is Phase 2 (94 octane) vs Tork Stage 1 (94 octane, My special mix of 91 and race gas). PS, this run had some heatsoak in it...we just couldn't get temperatures to settle.

My bad I misunderstood. I thought that you were talking about a phase of the Tork tune.

This is great stuff. Thanks very much for sharing it.

Looks like the EC tune has a bit more grunt low down, but HP is pretty close and the curves look similar.
