The Tork Tune builds power gradually and relentlessly until about 5k. From there, it’ll continue pulling to fuel cut without ever feeling like it’s cooling off early. It honestly reminds me of driving my old SpecV (2nd Gen.) that would pull hard right on up to fuel cut.
I really like how John has the power setup in relation with the pedal, it’s exactly how I want a car to feel and I wasn’t expecting it either. He has also tuned traction control from what I can tell, and it now lets you have some fun but without going too crazy. Torque vectoring is all there, it’s just the wheelspin that is affected as far as I’ve observed.
Just a note: WOT pulls are not indicative of all the characteristics of a tune, it’s just a single unary dimension of the full reality.
With all the lies and hyperbole out there you’d think the results would be drastically different. They weren’t. The truth is out there, go drive a Tork Tune and try it out, go drive an EC tune and try it out. Variety is the spice of life, stop the hate.
PS, someone buy my EC handheld so I don’t feel too bad about spending $1550US on tunes
