Happy with V2 fitment, next I’ll be sketching up the vent extensions to guide them to the vents on the fascia; then sand and paint
I removed the factory tomtom mount, and replaced it with a microphone holder.
Also pictures of my rear view camera placement, haven’t decided what I’m going to do with it yet

Been slacking on producing a final, it’s a 24hour print, so I want to make sure fitment is dead on.. in the meantime, vent baffles are complete, I feel like they throw air at least as well as factory.

Looks like you're almost done!
Are you planning on doing any smoothing of the bezel?
Have you considered running a larger nozzle to speed things up?
When I went to the 0.8 and 1.0mm nozzles it was a game changer, parts that would take all day would be done in 2-3 hours.
BTW, what is your printer/slicer setup?

Yes, I’ll sand and paint the final.
I’ll typically use the larger nozzles for work that isn’t as detailed, the first pictures I posted here were on .6 at .35 layer height, not amazing but good enough for fit up.for finish work I’ll use the .4. It’s slow, but I’m happier with the results.
I’ve been printing these in PETG, and I’m usually happy with ease of print and heat resistance; but I think I’ll try ABS for chemical smoothing, if I can finish a large print without warping.
Using Prusa i3 Mk2s, either slic3r or the new prusa slicer for software

Finished product. overall turned out ok. I ended up acetone smoothing, then primer, paint, clear.
Can be polished, but I’m ok with it.. If anyone wants to tackle a similar project, I'd be happy to help.

Matched the original unit colour best I could do for an OE look, I think it’s a Ford metallic grey paint, space grey if I’m not mistaken
