Doing 0-60 runs is pretty hard here in the city. It’s also a bit meaningless. Who launches their car at a stoplight?

That said, I’ve been running two tests with my car using dash command. Both have context in the real world and both are doable on the street with out looking like an ass, hurting someone, or getting a ticket.

1) 2nd gear 30-55mph
2) 3rd gear 50-75mph

For both tests I drop the car to five or so mph under the start speed and mash the pedal. That’s it. No shifting. No clutch slipping.

Can you beat my best times?

once the car is out the shop i’ll do it. i doubt my numbers will be amazing either since it’s a reliable track build, not a drag or power setup.

I’ll give the 2nd gear pull a run tomorrow in non sport and sport because there’s a sweet area to do 2nd gear pulls on my way to work. Only issue is that it’s up hill . If I can’t get Auterra to cooperate for this test, I’ll get something this weekend.

I never got Auterra to cooperate. It would report different values for the same run depending on whether I was looking on the phone app or on the PC.

Yeah my plan was for Auterra to track my speed at a timestamp, then use the delta to post up. Either that or I order OBDLink for my iPhone orrr use an android phone with with a slow polling elm that I have.

So many choices. Auterra is excellent for data logging btw

Yeah.... Auterra won't work. I'll see about booting up my old Android phone and getting that to work.
