Does anyone have this intake installed? It looks very similar to the EC V3 design. AFAIK Injen uses Amsoil dry filters. The claimed HP and torque figures seem a little optimistic at +9.0 HP +12.0 ft. lbs.

Is there any truth to the claim? Could the stock plastic piece be that inefficient?

I have the full Injen intake that replaces the airbox.

I've seen similar claims that the filter+tube will have some minor claims, but I can't speak to them personally.

I wonder how big of a performance difference there is between the one you have and this design. This one could have less heat soak with the stock ram air feed.

Yep that's the plan. It should be arriving sometime next week. Now to find a local dyno...

So the stock plastic tube has several diameter changes, that's where the issue lies.
