Spam & The Future of the Forum

It seems there are very few of us who actually come to this forum. Without the power of advertising, the dwindling interest in Fiat in the US, and the overwhelming juggernaut of Facebook groups, there is little chance this forum will grow beyond what it is now.
On top of that, we've recently had yet another wave of spammers hit... The spam posts were up for several days and honestly, I don't have much desire to be coming here to see 98% of the posts be spam and have to delete them and fight the spammers.
This forum was put up on the spur of the moment, mostly to prove a point - it's not difficult nor expensive to run a forum, when someone in the community was claiming otherwise trying to get people to put up money. That point was proven. Sadly what isn't easy to do is to build a community where there is none.
I will probably take this forum down sometime in the near future. I'll archive the existing content - somewhere - but until then, feel free to save what you need/ want from here first.
