New member from abroad!

Hi y'all, my name is Jose (some people called me Joe in the past) and I'm from Spain. I lived in the U.S. my younger years studying and later working for a short period of time before heading back to Europe.

I'm still a newbie in the Abarth community since I ordered my 2018 Podio Blue 595 Turismo (more details soon) a week ago, and the dealer told me the estimated time of delivery around December this year.

I've always been fan of small cars, and where I live nowadays, they are a must (one day I'll photograph my parking for you to see and understand). In the past I had Minis and similar vehicles as you may guessed by now.

I hope to enjoy and learn although engines are not quite the same between markets. It is always interesting to know people linked to the community from other countries and learn different things.

PS: Hopefully my English skills still in place

Welcome! Although the engines are slightly different, the cars are very similar and share many parts.

Also, your English is fine. I teach English as a Second Language so that is my expert opinion!

Welcome to the group, I'll try not to be too jealous of that beautiful blue.

Thanks!

I cannot wait to see the it as well. The wait it is going to be so looooong (fingers crossed the dealer will call me earlier  ) ... but in the other hand, I spec'd the car to my taste. Just in case you don't know, in Spain (and other EU countries as well) we don't have the stock that you might get there. The usual process is to spec the car like you want, be patient a couple of months and receive it.

I will open a journal to tell the community more about my specs and if anyone wants to ask questions about the differences I'll be more than welcome to answer them.
