The Mad Fiat - 2015 Abarth!

The MAD FIAT is my 2015 Abarth. Like everyone else, I wasn't going to spend much money on it.

Over 5 figures later, many parts bought and sold, 44500 miles, and one blown engine....

It's almost back together. Put the turbo back on last weekend. I went with a stock turbo as I'm dialing it back to Phase 2. Nothing wrong with the NGEN turbo, I just didn't want to have to keep chasing all the issues that arise when you are living on the edge.

I’m looking forward to seeing this back on the road. Once it is, you should be very proud of what you have been able to accomplish. As much as it sucks that you had to replace the engine, look at what you learned and the experience gained. It’s pretty incredible.

Hopefully you took some Video footage along the way. If you stitched together a 30min+ video of the evolution of the Mad Fiat, you'd get 1K views

And if you ever decided to get a Vented CF Hood, I'd buy your red one off you .

I really planned on documenting it, but I ended up working in a cramped garage belonging to a friend's mother... and during EXTREMELY hot weather this summer and then rain on multiple weekends... has gone much slower than planned and I really have just focused on working rather than video.

One video I did take is what a motor with a busted valve lifter sounds like:

Hooked up wires and hoses and more wires and more hoses today !!! ... Only a couple I can't figure out where they go yet.

Planned to get the clutch bled, but I don't have the right type of bleeder.
