Asseto Corse Subframe bushings

I have a set of Ngen sub frame collars that have been collecting dust in my garage for some time now. Is there a reason why this mod isn't as popular as some of the other chassis mods? Please chime in if you have a set installed!

The official Asseto Corse hand book calls for it so it must be beneficial in some way.

I think they're not as popular mostly because for a long time they weren't available. The only person who was making them before became persona non grata in the community after a while.

NGEN now makes and sells them, but as you've observed they're not popular.

I have a set I need to install, so after I do that I may do a review of them.

I thought others were selling these in sets of 4 bushings ? My car has four made of 4140 carbon steel ( I made them ).

I put in a set last weekend. I bought these from Bryan in January but just got around to installing them.
The hole is much larger than the bolt, so there is certainly the potential for some slop. It's only been commuting this week so I haven't had a chance to push them.
I will do a real review once I have some fun miles on them.

This is a very popular necessity in the VW & Audi world (which is my background), so this was a no brainer for me.

I have them on my my 500s (Abarth and Pop). I would say the difference is not as dramatic as the vertical braces or rear bar, but perhaps that's because those mods are already on. Clearly they remove a little bit of extra slop out of the subframe, that's pretty obvious. I'd have to take off my vertical braces I suppose to do a proper review and I'm not doing that.

That makes sense. Did you have to do an alignment after the install? And was there any noticeable change in NVH?

The alignment has stayed good, and the NVH isn't noticeably different.

I found the lower front brace to make the most dramatic difference in front end grip and response at autocross. The collars helped a lot with fine tuning steering angle when at the limits, about the same as the front braces but again that lower front brace was a big change.
