Rear Wiper Delete Weight Loss

I ordered the rear wiper delete kit a few days ago. I removed the wiper today and weighted the parts. You can drop 2 pounds and 9 oz.. I'm sure the plug will weight around 4 oz. maybe a little less. I was surprised to find out that there wasn't any insulation at all in the rear hatch,

There is nothing but wires in the rear hatch, although my Pop can with a bunch of loose nuts and bolts rattling around in there.

Mine had a electric motor inside and a wiper arm on the outside. There were some wires.

glad you weighed it out. just ordered one
