Looks to be an amazing plug and play solution.
Currently only Ford and VW applications, I'm surprised that Garret has multiple flange/plunger dimensions for their built in diverter applications. Has anyone measured the diverters on the newer VW/Ford/BMW/Mercedes turbos, to compare against Fiat?
I know that the GFB diverter is common for Abarth and N55/S63 BMW- with that in mind I contacted turbosmart and they're in the process of developing the same unit for BMW N55- which should also work for the Fiat.

After opening dialog with TS, I worked with them in terms of fitment and connection type. They have now released the “VR3” version with applications for Alfa/Jeep 2.0L and FCA 1.4 MultiAir engine.
I’ve ordered one, but before I install I want to log some before/after results; Im considering throttle pedal position, throttle plate position and MAP.
Anything else I should be logging?

Valve installed, fit and finish are great as with all TS products.. However, after installing car was throwing P1CEA frequently- I figured that it wasn't sealed properly and not enough vacuum was building in the pre-turbo intake. I'm running an EVAP purge boost plug, so there's no help from that.
Took the valve out and it turns out that it's 1-0.5mm too short to seal properly- it seemingly held boost well, but leaked enough to fault. it's listed as applicable for Alfa/Jeep 2.0 and FCA 1.4 turbos; so it probably works well for the Alfa/Jeep application.
I would say that this currently will not work out of the box for the 1446- but I don't think I'll return the valve, if TS doesn't come back with a solution soon- I'll likely just machine the difference from the valve.

It looks like previously my onboard OBD readout was glitching- telling me P1CEA, but today I reinstalled with the larger o-ring (which looked to seal really well); and logged on laptop where the code thrown was P0033 (TURBOCHARGER SURGE VALVE CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN/HIGH RESISTANCE). The initial P1CEA which lead me to believe there was a sealing problem may not have been accurate (although measured too short)
Now the bullet valve isn't playing nice with the car's PCM, but it seems to be operating as intended. P0033 is an open circuit or greater than 5 Ohms going back to the power control module(ground).
I'm not sure how the bullet valve is operated, but my inclination is that the PCM is seeing too high of a resistance on the ground (PCM) wire (because it is actuating- it's likely not an open circuit). I'll do some more measurement next week. I'd be interested to know if the new Jeeps/Alfas have the same thresholds.

I had a faulty connection (open circuit)on the valve from factory. Corrected by replacing JST connector and rebuilding the small harness.

The issue now is P2261- which I imagine is the same problem seen with many of the GFB kits, where the return spring is causing PCM to rack up a surge count under part throttle. I’m hoping this is part of an adaptation, but I’ve reset this fault twice now. If persistent, I’ll try swapping to a lighter spring, or removing it altogether.
