Re: Post Your Other Vehicles
The SHOs are fairly underrated. Certainly a good workhorse car.

Re: Abby - Abarth 500 Project
So this project stalled over the holidays. Couldn't seem to find the time or the motivation to get rolling again. So the the Texas Spring Thing is coming up and I've set that as my goal to have this car ready. I've also named the car "Abby" as in "Abby Normal". 249012747_41324883...

Re: Bella #4 - Abarth 500 Project
So found that the new accessory drive belt tensioner I have is for the non-turbo engine, and they are different. Live and learn. tempImageRqheaM.gif So I fitted the low milage one from the L back to the block. Also moved over the alternator and AC compressor and fitted a new accessory drive belt. Ye...

Re: Bella #4 - Abarth 500 Project
Not much progress this weekend. Too many family obligations and still waiting on some key parts. I did make sure I installed the correct underpulley and also put in some shiny new spark plugs that I got from Bookautowerks. IMG_4656.jpeg IMG_4659.jpeg Also installed the throttle body. IMG_4658.jpeg

Re: 2013 500t Cattiva for a special kinda person
Sounds like a great car for someone. Should price really well at that low mileage but I’m never good at pricing (perhaps too emotionally invested). You might do better selling some of the mods off separately but I appreciate that is extra work. Maybe talk to Bryan at Ngen as he’s pretty good at movi...

Re: Bella #4 - Abarth 500 Project
Didn’t get much done with the rebuild this weekend, still waiting on a new engine mount. Spent a lot of time pulling the interior apart, but we’ll talk about that later. Did install a new gasket in the oil cooler though and swapped over the less beaten of the coolers onto the unbroken assembly. IMG_...

Re: Bella #4 - Abarth 500 Project
Today's fun was finding small differences between the 500L and 500 Abarth engines. First I moved over the oil filter housing to replace the one that is damaged on the new engine. That was easy enough, but then I found that the oil return lines and one of the coolant lines didn't fit correctly. The 5...

Re: New Member-opinion wanted
Probably $2k-$3k to fix it yourself $4k-$5k for a mechanic. I think it's worth keeping it since you have an emotional attachment to it. However, you'll note that I've never managed to sell one of mine

Re: Bella #4 - Abarth 500 Project
Limited time this weekend due to kid's birthday parties and a trip to see some NFL football. I did dig in a bit deeper to the new engine trying to get it ready for installation. Finished taking the wiring loom off, so I have a complete 2014 500L loom if anyone needs it. IMG_4600.jpeg First thing I n...
