Re: 2 DIN fascia

Looks like you're almost done! Are you planning on doing any smoothing of the bezel? Have you considered running a larger nozzle to speed things up? When I went to the 0.8 and 1.0mm nozzles it was a game changer, parts that would take all day would be done in 2-3 hours. BTW, what is your printer/sli...

Re: DIY shift link bushing

Do you have a step file or a drawing with dimensions? I might be able to convince my machinist at work to run off a few sets out of a harder material.

Re: DIY shift link bushing

I'm definitely interested in the files as I was considering doing the same thing (printing), now I won't have to take my car apart first to get dimensions!

I had similar concerns but so far so good. Once ambient temps are higher that may not be the case.

Re: LED headlight bulbs

This is what I went for as a cost effective option when one of my Halogens burned out. Probably not as bright as some of the name brand stuff but they seem to be holding up well. The beam pattern is adjustable as well, which made a substantial difference in regards to glare. The main assembly can ro...

Re: Transmission gear Oil

I'm glad to see you all are having good results with the Royal Purple, it really does seem to be a better option (and cheaper!) than stock. I have not experienced any degradation since my change over (2-3k miles ago), so at this point I'll tentatively say I think it is safe for use in our transmissi...

Re: Transmission gear Oil

I recently changed my transmission oil and replaced it with Royal Purple Syncromax based on admittedly sparse information found on a few other Fiat and Dart forums, here is my impression. -Cold shifting is greatly improved, it was always stiff into gates before, now it slips in. -Reverse engagement ...

Re: General AS-05 tires

Im very surprised that the Hankooks only lasted 15000 miles? have you checked your alignment? I was never happy with the Hankooks, They were ok when new but the ride quality and grip diminished quickly with age, wet conditions were especially scary. I do need an alignment as my car takes a beating ...

General AS-05 tires

I just ordered a set of these for FartieBartie, I couldn’t find any reviews or comments about them on an Abarth, it seems most people steer towards a more aggressive tire but I needed something more suited to my 75 mile commute. I’ll update this post with my impressions for anyone interested in a co...
