Re: NEW VIDEO! HOW TO Change the Manual Transmission Fluid in a Fiat 500 Abarth
pic 4.JPG I really can't speak much about the turbo car transmissions. I've seen pictures and the biggest difference I see is the turbo transmission bolts together in halves. The C514 transmission bolts together in sections. The picture is my C514 . The gear ratios are very different and the final ...

I'm Done With 500 Madness
My wife ordered a set of Italian Leather floor mats from 500 Madness and she wasn't happy with the quality of them. She called about returning them and was told they were a nonreturnable close out item. If the statement that they were a "close out item, all sales final " was posted on the ...

Re: Looking for a Mint Green 500
It is in the plans to get one for her car along with DNA top hats and yellow Koni struts like I stated before. We got the car today. I followed her back from Edmond that is about 80 miles away. She said the car pulled to the right pretty bad. I told her I would like to get the Konis and Dna top hats...

Re: Looking for a Mint Green 500
Thanks Paul . I hope I don't regret buying the car . I'd heard so many horror stories about the tops it was my biggest concern. It was what the wife wanted but, she doesn't get the pleasure of working on it. Without knowing what has been done to the car I plan on all new wheel bearings, DNA top hats...

Re: Can't get it to start.
I guess with the oil pan off for a few days that the oil pump lost prime. It seems the pumps are not self priming. Once I had the system pressured up and got everything back in place, it didn't take but a few cranks to get it to start up. I just hope I didn't damage the small end rod bearing any. It...

Re: Looking for a Mint Green 500
Di's Fiat 6.jpg Thanks for the replies. We found one in OKC yesterday. It is a 2013 500C Lounge that is in VGC with a set of new tires on it. Clean Carfax. Looking at your replies it looks like we bought it at a fair price. It has 75,000 miles on it which is more than I wanted. It is really a bumme...

Looking for a Mint Green 500
We test drove a used ( what I would call) mint green 500C . My wife really liked it so I'm looking for one for her. We don't really want the convertible , a coupe, a sunroof car is fine. She likes the two tone white / gray ( I think it was gray ) interior. Anything from a 2013 to a 2017 is fine . I ...

Re: Can't get it to start.
I tried everything that people posted to try on the blue page and more. I built a tank ,filled it with oil, pressured it up to 20 psi. , and hooked it up to the oil pressure sending unit port. After a few cranks it fired right up. So the pumps aren't self priming because I never got oil up to the br...

I have already tried that without any luck. I may try it again tomorrow.
