How to Remove and Add a Turbo on a 500 Abarth
Originally these instructions were on the club wiki, but the wiki has been retired as there was nobody was contributing to it (not even me).
So I'm going to transplant the instructions into this thread as best I can and hope that works. It will take some time......
They are also available on my personal Microsoft cloud storage in their original format, but I'm hoping they will be easier to find in the forum: https://1drv.ms/w/s!AoFbd0rcEyU97myAiPn ... d?e=uQW25u
You also get a free set of these instructions with the purchase of a NGen Performance Turbo (just sayin').
These instructions work for both replacing your turbo and upgrading to something more beefy. They are adapted from the instructions that NGEN Customs & Performance provide with their turbo upgrades.
I find these instructions are useful for other basic things, like removing the front bumper cover or changing the manifold (even on a non-turbo car).
If I had one tip then it would be be patient, it often feels like these cars fight against the most basic of jobs. Or maybe that's just me.
Big thank you to Bryan of NGen Customs and Performance for allowing these instructions to be shared in this manner.

Re: How to Remove and Add a Turbo
Ok quick question, those don’t mention anything about the radiator or a/c.... do they need to be disconnected as well?

Re: How to Remove and Add a Turbo
Don't think so, but I'll check with Bryan. Bryan also said he now has a less invasive way to get the turbo off, without removing the manifold, but I haven't seen it yet.
