Please share you secrets on dropping weight off your Fiat.
After you've done what you can to gain hp , the only thing left to do is drop weight. I've bought racing seats, lighter wheels, Antigravity Battery, rear seat delete , and many more little things. What can you share that worked for you?

Having done all the basics, you will of course be approaching the "spending a lot of money" range. Carbon fiber hood is one popular mod that shaves a few pounds. After that, it depends on how "daily" you want your car to be. Replacing window motors with fixed windows is one option. Rear wiper delete would save maybe a pound off the back. For track use, you could delete the radio and speakers... The AC system weighs a bit...
If you want to keep daily driveability there may still be options. There are carbon door and hatch skins available from Italy, but now you're talking $$$$ for each one.
The final option, which is most difficult but perhaps the cheapest, is not eating pizza or hamburgers. I'm going to try this option myself.

Sounds like you are really getting into the creature comforts stage. Time to start replacing all that steel and plastic with aluminum and carbon fiber. If you do decide to go this route I'd love to see a build thread.

I hope to get a big brake kit for the front, an EC dyno tune done in Tulsa, a light weight flywheel, a HD clutch, and a LSD. After all that I might get the carbon fiber hood. I don't know if it's possible but, I'd like to get the car down to under 2000 pounds.
