I’ve had these Racerflash door pulls in my glovebox for years. Figured they would work better on the doors, so did that today.

Also fixed a bulb in the rear taillight. Is it just me or is two bolts and 4 screws excessive just to change a bulb?

Moved my E+D license from the Pop to the Hulk, and applied the phase 1 tune. Wow, big upgrade from the Racechip. More power across the rev range, really smooths out the acceleration. I knew it would be better, but wasn’t expecting it to be this noticeable.

I finished up a holster mount for Glock. I hope I never need it but, in this crazy world today I'd rather have it.

Think I might have mounted it on the other side. Right handed draw from between my legs. My leg always feels so close to the center console.

For the past couple of weekends I've been trying to get the Pop back to stock. Currently fighting with the headers. Some of the nuts are not terribly accessible.

I tried loosing the front supports to give me the wiggle room, but that isn't working. Removed the radiator yesterday, which was harder that it should have been. Can see the nuts pretty clearly now, so just need to figure out the best angle of attack.

Also need to figure out what I want to do about the torn axle boot on the driver's side.

Paul if you're talking about the aftermarket header , I really know what you mean. I had to use a fine tooth flex head ratchet and several different length wobble extensions plus wrenches. I loosened the radiator and moved it some. It is a pita. Good luck on the boot. I think the only source I ever saw posted was out of England. I've been screwed out of about $240 in shipping fees on returning items that were supposed to work on my car and didn't so I try to avoid buying parts that are heavy or are shipped from far off. I need to sell memberships to a webpage on parts that I know won't fit your car no matter what the vendor says.

I think the non-turbo 500 axles are available now from rockauto etc, just trying to decided if I want to put on a cheap axle, pay someone else to do it, buy a new one from the dealership, or fight with the boot. My car is also a 2012 so I think I need a new control arm too as the axle changed between 2012 and 2013.. Yay!

Today I figured out how thick to make the spacer that sets the preload on the differential bearings and then cleaned up bolts. My transmission is sitting on the bench. I waiting on getting my flywheel back from being balanced. I have the following parts ordered; clutch, axle seals, rear main seal, throw out bearing, and shift level seals. I need to get all this stuff and put the car together and then it goes to the alignment shop. I would like to get some miles on it before Twisted but, I'll be doing good to get it together by then. everything depends on if the parts get here soon enough.

Will really miss you if you don't make it to Twisted 2020. If you can get to Houston you can ride with me.
