Lightened Flywheel
I don't have an Abarth but , I posted this here because there is a better chance Abarth owners have done this. I'm pulling my transmission out of my very modded Sport today. I plan to take the flywheel to a machine shop and have it lightened. It is a daily driver. How much weight should I remove to see an improvement off the line but not so much that it has any negative issues? Also if they make one that will fit my transmission, I'm looking at the 4:08 final drive and a LSD .

Re: Lightened Flywheel
I ended up milling almost a pound off the flywheel. I then had it balanced. The 4:08 final drive set won't fit my transmission I found out. The final drive in a Sport is 3:73 which is different from a Pop or Abarth from what I've read.

Re: Lightened Flywheel
The final drive in a 500 Pop (non-turbo) is definitely different, 4.10, aimed at economy and not sportiness. The final drive in the Abarth is 3.353
