Do you have any mods? Specifically mods such as the "Boost Leak Fix Mod", a custom intake, or aftermarket blowoff valve (GFB/Forge, etc)?

Are there any other symptoms, e.g. a rough idle or lack of boost pressure?

When I've seen people throw the P0033 code it was because of the diverter valve wasn't connected up properly. I'd check the install of your GFB+ DV first, especially the plug which can pop off while you are not looking.

Don't know if the P1CEA is related or a different issue.

Not that Ive noticed and Ill check the plug when I get a break at work. The diverter valve was giving me trouble during install so it's probably that.

The p1CEA can occur also if some of the hoses to the intake aren't plumbed correctly - especially if you have a 2015 or newer that needed the more complicated hose routing and the valve on the back of the airbox.

Mine throws P1CEA pretty regularly. I just ignore it because it doesn't throw the car into limp mode, but it started happening immediately after I installed intake + boost leak fix. I think it has to do with the plumbing attached to the intake, which I still need to route better. I would damn near guarantee your intake is related to the code.

To be fair my battery completely crapped out at 33000 miles yesterday and replacing it has since made the code disappear. Hopefully it doesnt comeback up but if does I guess Ill just start working on a fix again for it.

Replacing the battery probably reset the all the fault codes on the ECU - the code may come back in a few drive cycles - I am also having the P1CEA code after doing the EC boost leak fix - I have since tried to revert back to stock (getting rid of the boost leak fix) albeit with a universal vacuum tee as I didnt have the stock one that was taken out - I am still getting the code after this -

Because the Tee has a venturi in it, if it isn't present or faces the wrong way you'll get a P1CEA. It isn't merely a Tee, so that's the issue.
