Spam / Moderators

As some of you may have seen, we have a rash of SPAM already on this forum.

I tried enabling email validation, but apparently most people don't know how to do email validation and several legitimate users got stuck in validation. It is not my goal to keep users off this site.

However, due to one BMW-owning asshole (yes he fills out his car on each spam account), we have to deal with this.

Starting this evening, we will start requiring moderation of Welcome Mat posts by new users and accounts will not be promoted or posts visible until moderated by a staff member.

As such, we will be accepting a third moderator. If you are interesting in helping moderate the Welcome Mat, and potentially other parts of the site in the future, please send a PM to me for consideration.
