yea i can hear the rolling antilag in a lot of rally and hillclimb cars. unfortunately ec pops and bangs might just be for novelty, but worth it to me. crossing my fingers that it doesn't cause any valve damage.

Its not just valve damage its more piston ring wear from the fuel being dumped in washing the cylinder walls and diluting your oil down which can cause an engine failure.

This is something to be careful of with higher boost too. That is why more frequent oil changes are recommended by most tuners including EC.

this is a great thread. just when i thought i had my mind made up with EC Phase 2 P&B new questions arise. Tork or Ec? P&B or no P&B. I’m glad this discussion happened before i pulled the trigger.

To be fair to EC, ALL the manufacturers are doing this on their OEM code. I’m sure it can’t be that bad for the engine if done correctly. I wonder tho if DI motors are better for this because of the more precise fuel control?
