Re: Oil Catch Can Location
Here's my boring engine bay with the catch can up front. I guess I should say, "this is where the magic happens!" or something more exciting.

Re: Oil Catch Can Location
What kind of Hose did you use going to your intake? I'm assuming 3/4" Fuel Line Hose? Or Heater Hose?
I just got the EC Can from NGEN, but that hose isn't long enough to route where I need it to go

Re: Oil Catch Can Location
A red one........honest answer is I don't know. One of the times that NGen Bryan was meddling in there, with the whole front end removed, it seemed like a good time to change out all the coolant hoses and all the evap hoses. I believe the red hoses that you can see are part of EC silicone kit, but check with Mr NGen he might not have killed as many brain cells as me.Mangavideo wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 10:28 amWhat kind of Hose did you use going to your intake? If your car is older (2013 for me) and has been beaten regularly like mine it's definitely worth replacing as much of the piping as you can as the opportunity arises. My old coolant hoses and silicone were pretty rough looking when they came out.

Re: Oil Catch Can Location
When I browse hoses, I see Fuel Hoses that are rated to carry and resist degradation from OIl/Fuel and Heater Hose rated for High Temps but not Fuel/Oil resistent. Just wondering which I should use when I lace up this EC Can.
Does NGEN sell the hose, Elbows and 180's assist in making bends to a stock Airbox?

I don't have time to play with printers. Take my money.
Mine is on a bent up shelf support held on by commercial roof deck screws. Luckily the can hides the whole thing.

When I had mine hooked up that way I didn't catch any oil and I had throttle breakup on Phase 2 hard pulls. I have it unhooked right now and I get full power in all gears now. I'll be hooking it up the other way this week to see what that does. You ever get anything like that?

I don't see much oil either, but it's there to stop any oil going back to the intake (and back into the turbo and intercooler.Rael Nema wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 7:30 pmWhen I had mine hooked up that way I didn't catch any oil and I had throttle breakup on Phase 2 hard pulls. I'm running a phase 3 tune with the NGen turbo and the C&B cam, I don't have any break up currently
