NEW VIDEO IS UP! HOW TO install Cipher Towing Straps on a Fiat 500 Abarth!
In this video, we show you how to install Cipher Towing Straps on a Fiat 500 Abarth. This also applies to all Fiat 500 models (although modification to the lower grill on other models may differ). These towing straps are rated for up to 5,000lbs so if you ever need to tow your Fiat 500 Abarth, this is a much easier way to do so (typically a tow truck will hook to a lower control arm or frame which can cause damage). They also look cool!
Please Note: If you do not want to make modifications to the stock lower grille, you can upgrade to the ACS Composite Front Lower Grill insert where no modification is needed to allow the tow strap (or straps) to slide through.
Tools Needed:
1/2” Socket Wrench*
3/8” Socket Wrench*
3/8” Socket Extension
1/2” Socket Extension
Torque Wrench
17mm Socket Wrench (for wheels)
15mm Socket
10mm Socket
Screwdriver Socket or Screwdriver
T-27 Torx Bit Socket
Dremel with Cutting Wheel
*Substitute a Socket Wrench for Electric Impact Drivers
