New to the Forum from Florida

Post by sarasotabill » Mon Jun 03, 2019 7:20 pm

Just joined and looking forward to getting some ideas and sharing what I have learned. I live in Sarasota FL, the retirement capitol of Florida. This is where Rt. 41 is mistaken for the speed limit. Truly a retirement town.

I have a 2017 Fiat 500c. Celeste Blu with the 1957 Package, Brown and Ivory interior.

Welcome and Congrats. Ironically, I was speculating recently that your 1957 500c in Celeste Blue and Verde Chiaro would depreciate the least and, decades from now, be among the most collectible 500's from this generation.

Even if that ends up not being true it certainly should be.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if it turns out that the GQ edition is the only one that's collectible, and worth tons of money.... except only if intact with original GQ trim and options... and most people would regret turning them all into Abarths.... because there are very few GQ's that get left as GQs?

There was a special edition for the first 500s, but I don't remember what it was called. I wonder how many of those are left.

It's probably going to be something like the 500L that become valuable because of it's odd look.

What was it that MNeuman used to say? "Americans got the Depreciation Edition" or something like that

Hi All, I'm also from Florida, Central Florida, where Mickey lives. I was made aware of this forum by "texanbrit" while trying to solve a stuck brake line's M10 Flare nut on the right rear. It just spins and will not separate from the rubber hose female fitting. I look forward to conversing with you all.
