So, I'm thinking about picking up a low mile salvage car for a backup engine and cores to send off for upgrades. I can get a whole parts car missing all lights and most sheet metal for about the price LKQ is charging for a high mile engine. This best I've found is a couple of 2015 500Ts. My question is about the transmissions. Did the Turbo/Sport get the same c510 as Abarth? And if so did they get the same upgrades as the Abarth sometime between 2013 and 2015? Like the extra fill hole and stronger housing.
I intend to do a better than stock build on whatever engine I get but it would be nice to have an extra transmission, too. I could just have it ready and drop it in whole when the time comes but I don't want to downgrade anything for the sake of convenience.

C510 in both the 500T and the Abarth, same clutch and diff too. The transmissions are made by another division of Fiat so will have the same updates.

Awesome, that makes this a whole lot easier.
