Since FIAT Cares joined the forum I wondered if this was a good place to ask for help with an issue that seems to keep cropping up.
There seems to be a recurring issue where the relay for the headlights fail on the 500 model. The problem being that the relay is part of the BCM and is not user serviceable.
Charging $1000+ for what is essentially a failed relay seems unreasonable, for what is at heart an economy car.
Is there a different solution that FIAT would recommend?

Definitely a concern! Especially since a used BCM is not reprogrammable.
