carlos thinks this is most likely due to the fork rods bending, which means that the casing, rods and reinforcement plate are going to be the things to cryo. i still need to replace the one-use parts and the bearing that we pulled off by the outer ring so nothing is going to happen for a bit.

i'm finally getting my butt together on this infernal transmission. the amount of disassembly to get to the diff and the number of one use parts in this this is effing insane. i'll try to get pictures as i go.

note that i'm looking for a second used trans as a backup and model for putting the thing back together again.
