I would like to add that after performing this; it won’t last long if there is corrosion or ingress into the housing.. if you’re going to the effort of removing the pivot, removing the housing is only 3 more bolts while you’re there. Where you can properly clean and grease the whole assembly. I used a strip of scotch brite on a drill. On reassembly, packing too much grease can blow out the seals as well.
